Who We Are

“We are Midvale” is much more than just a slogan. It represents the community and how we stand together to help one another grow. “We are Midvale” is a promise that together we will help to build community, relationships, and trust while fostering growth. With the support of all members, amazing things can happen. In order to fulfill this promise, below you will find school wide expectations for both students and adults throughout the building.

At Midvale Middle School, we pursue mastery, seek autonomy, and practice with purpose.

2022-2023 Goals

LITERACY

75% of students will meet or exceed expected growth on the Reading Inventory (RI) during the current school year.

STEM

60% of students will meet or exceed expected growth on the Math Inventory (MI) during the current school year.

PBIS

On a monthly basis, at least 95% of students will be recognized through our school-wide positive behavior intervention system (PBIS Rewards).

By the end of the year, student connectivity and wellness will increase as measured by improved scores from the pre and post wellness survey through the implementation of the after-school program, counseling supports, and lessons in homeroom on Portrait of a Graduate.
