- Book Bistro in the library today and Thursday

- Continuing working on registration/scheduling for next year
- Last CCA lesson for 6th graders on ways to pay for college

- Overarching Goal:
- The goal for Midvale Middle School is for all students to show growth in literacy and math by ensuring that students have access to high-quality instruction in a safe, positive learning environment that focuses on the overall wellness of students, as outlined in Portrait of a Graduate.
- Areas of Focus
- Best practices for Multilingual learners in language acquisition, creating classrooms with at least 50% expressive language observed through quality interactions
- Best practices for graphing, using the PROPER model
- Increase attendance rates through positive communication, awareness, and setting SMART goals through the support of the attendance committee
- Best practices for supporting students using the Collaborative and Proactive Solutions Protocols
- Creating meaningful Professional Learning Communities where we implement our action plan
- Reading Goal
- 75% of students will meet or exceed expected growth on the MAP Growth Reading Assessment in the 2025-2026 school year
- Math Goal
- 60% of students will meet or exceed expected growth on the MAP Growth Math Assessment in the 2025-2026 school year
- School Climate Goals – PBIS
- On a monthly basis, at least 98% of students will be recognized through our school-wide positive behavior intervention system.
- By May of 2026, student connectivity and wellness will increase as measured by comparing scores from last year’s and the current year’s CTESS survey through the implementation of the after-school program, counseling supports, community facilitator supports, and lessons in homeroom on Portrait of a Graduate.
