    • kids feel more safe and better with each day that passes and time will hopefully continue to alleviate the current fear people are feeling

5.TSSP for next year -Courtney Long

  • Academic Goals
    • 75% of students will meet or exceed expected growth on the reading assessment during the current school year.
    • 60% of students will meet or exceed expected growth on the math assessment during the current school year.
      • Why growth:  Focuses on all students being able to show success.
      • We are showing progress towards our goals.
        1. SUCCESSES:  ML students are growing in reading at the same rate as non ML students
        2. MAP Math results show 53% of students made expected growth from Fall to Winter and students who are in Special Education made 53% expected growth from Fall to Winter
  • Student recognition
    • On a monthly basis, at least 98% of students will be recognized through our school-wide positive behavior intervention system.
      • Monthly-We are meeting the goal of recognizing students every month, however students are still reporting low on School Climate Survey questions on being recognized.  Looking at rebranding PBIS points and school store
      • Percentage- Want another year with this goal as we are continuing to look for ways to help students understand when they are being recognized and our survey results are still showing we are not meeting this goal yet
  • Student Climate
    • By May of 2026, student connectivity and wellness will increase as measured by improved scores from the pre and post-wellness survey through the implementation of the after-school program, counseling supports, community facilitator supports, and lessons in homeroom on Portrait of a Graduate.
      • Survey restrictions–agreed that new law creates restrictions on giving the current survey and proposed changing the goal from Student Connectedness Survey to using the School Climate survey as more parents are giving permission for students to participate in this survey and questions 19-24 are almost the same as the questions we had on Student Connectedness Survey
      • SCC was in agreement with this change
  • Considerations
    • Community Facilitator (.5)
    • Counselor (.5)
    • Behavior Interventionists (2)
