The Midvale Community garden is for families to come and grow their own food. Use of the space is free, and water is provided. If you are interested in maintaining a space please sign up with Robert Violano in person or go to the follow linkhttps://goo.gl/forms/BCDHpb54thKtVBS42. There are still a few spots available.
There is also a school box that will be maintained by students. The food in this box is free for anyone to harvest when it is ready.
Library books and materials are due Friday, May 18. Students can pay off fines -- NOT lost books -- by reading or helping in the library. We originally decided that students needed to read in the library to pay off fines, but they can read at home and have a parent/guardian sign off on their reading. Fine cards can be picked up in the library. We love when students use the library. Please help us get our books and materials back.
Debate 2017-2018 has successfully concluded. With four state winners and two national qualifiers, kids at Midvale have done a great and notable job. Debate takes a lot of courage and hard work, and we are proud of the students who embrace public speaking. Excellent work, Midvale Middle Debate! We look forward to a new year. Pictured here are our three graduating eighth graders who competed in debate for three years: Eric Chen, Ryan Chen, and Zoe Liu.
