Midvale Middle PTSA

Midvale Middle School Parent Teacher Student Assocation (PTSA) strives to unite our learning community and enrich the educational process for students, parents and teachers alike.

We are lucky at Midvale to have a terrific PTSA each year.  They make a huge difference in our school from folding the newsletter each month to providing dinners for the teachers at Parent Teacher Conferences to creating the Memory Book to running the Book Fair.  We love our PTSA and we encourage all parents to get involved and help make a difference!  You can participate on any level you chose.

PTSA Meetings are generally scheduled each month on the third Wednesday at 1:30 in the Midvale Middle School Media Center.  All interested parents are welcome to attend.

Midvale Middle School Community Council

The purpose of the school community council (SCC) is to 1) build consistent and effective communcation amoung parents, employees, and administrators; 2) to allow parents an opportunity to be actively involved with the shool in the education of their children; and 3) to make good schools great.

The Midvale Middle School Community Council (SCC)  1) reviews school testing data; 2) develops a school improvement plan; 3) develops a School LAND Trust Plan; 4) reviews the Child Access Routing Plan; 5) advises the school administration on local school issues; and 6) provides an opportunity for issues or concerns in the community to be presented to the school administration.

Together, the SCC strives to responsibly manage our resources to support the learning community and enrich the educational process for students, parents and teachers at Midvale Middle.

Each year parents are elected to serve on the SCC.  Every year we have several parents willing to share their time and energy to assist in this process.  We are grateful to our Community Council Members for their hard work and dedication to Midvale Middle.

SCC Meetings are generally scheduled each month on the second Wednesday at 1:30 in the Midvale Middle School Media Center.  All interested parents are welcome to attend.  Further questions can be answered by Mr. Hellwig at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
